As a publisher, TFL Stories' mission is to offer evocative tales that are born from experience and imagination. Storybooks are not silent. Nor are they stagnant sheaves of paper bound to be forgotten. There are millions—maybe billions—of stories silently crowded amongst others upon dusty bookshelves. But the simple act of turning to page one (or a bookmarked intermission) instantly unleashes the voice and vision of the storyteller. It’s almost magical. With theatrical cadence, the storyteller creates vivid landscapes while pursuing uncertain yet captivating destinies. The past becomes the present. Transmissions from the future cannot be ignored. And the charms of fantasy challenge belief. Each story is woven with poetic emotion, vibrant images, willful characters, and infinite possibility. Indeed, the best stories are often exotic, ageless, and somehow familiar.
Hello, you can call me Gordon. So far, I'm the only one who's responsible for this enterprise. This includes writing, publishing, marketing, and, as you can see, web design.
That's my puppy in the background. I guess she's part of the team as well, but she's much happier when we abandon all this busyness and go outside to address more important shenanigans.
In fact, I wouldn't have much to write about if it weren't for all the doggy companionship I've enjoyed over the years. Echoes in the Stars covers many of the adventures we've shared. Farm Pond is pure fiction that would be quite dull without the canine protagonists.
There's a unique quality to a dog's spirit. Perhaps, at one time in the past, we all had this raw enthusiasm for life. Brave, unencumbered, and thankful for every little thing--especially if it's filled with white fluffy stuff.
If you're wondering what her name is, look for us at the dog park. I'm the guy screaming her name whenever she disappears on her own adventure.
If you have any interest in additional stories or news, I'm happy to share these.
